Other than the graphics and gaudy gold wheels, of course. But a slightly more aggressive ride height basically turns the SQ5 back into the kind of fast AWD wagon we don’t really get in this country. The widebody kit on the second one is just icing on the cake (that one is too low for my taste, but is bagged so at least it can get over speed bumps).

Quite true. Would be nice but certainly not a dealbreaker for me. It’s a very good transmission for an auto, with responsive paddle shifts in manuél mode for when I want to play racecar driver.

I’ve always adored the SQ5 but it’s partly because we don’t get the RS6 on this side of the pond. That being said, SQ5s are quite rare in Canadia and I’ve met a guy who blew six figures custom ordering one from Germany, so that’s a thing.

Didn’t realize that was an Allroad. But then the only engine is the 2.0 right? That was never going to fly. Mine’s used too, but having a couple years of warranty coverage was important to me, so it’s a (relatively late-delivered) 2014.

It’s not my M5, but it does enough to keep me happy driving the kids around. Maybe someday I’ll mod it until it explodes.

Fair enough. The SQ5 obviously still isn’t as sporty/fun as my M3, but I didn’t want to give up too much oomph when in dad mode.

That’s why I got the M5! But it only comes out every couple weeks.

I couldn’t justify daily driving it. Too much fuel and don’t want to rack up the mileage.
